Loro Piana is known for extremely high raw material quality (fiber selection) and very uniform weaving/finish.

This typically means: beautiful drape, clean surface, good colors and high comfort, but also that you often pay for "perfection" and not necessarily for extra durability.

• Fiber composition: 71% wool, 15% silk, 14% linen

• Characteristics:

  • Medium-weight fabric, at 250 g/m — perfect for spring/summer.

  • Good balance of structure (wool), luster (silk) and freshness/texture (linen).

✅ Strengths: Very versatile summer balance, nice draping, and very breathable with its light and open weave.
⚠️ Drawbacks: Linen causes some creasing, silk makes the fabric more delicate, but as wool makes up the majority, creasing is very limited.
